Odenhammar, who played Max in both the TV series and films about the Svensson family between 1994 and 2008, says that he remembers Allan Svensson with love and warmth.
My real dad died in 2016. Then I called Allan and said that now it's just you left. "Is that so, old man", he said then. I was always the old man to him and he always answered when I called. He was very kind.
He could have an Allan-temperament, but he was always careful, I remember from a young age, to say that it's not about you old man and pat me on the head, continues Odenhammar.
"Was a master"
Just that temperament is something that is mentioned by Eva Röse – who played against Allan Svensson in the TV series about police commissioner Maria Wern.
In a text message to TT, she writes:
"We had an extremely lovely collaboration and he was a master of timing with a twinkle in his eye. He wasn't entirely good at, for example, driving a car and became unreasonably micro-angry when it went badly, which I always laughed at to his great annoyance."
"He was a master at telling stories and was hard to stop when he got started", continues Röse.
Kristersson pays tribute
On Instagram, Claudia Galli Concha, who played Lina in the later versions of "Svensson, Svensson", expresses her sorrow, pays tribute to Allan Svensson with heart symbols and writes:
"No. Not you Allan. Not now. I thought that we would somehow meet again in the future, would laugh again, would talk again. You have no idea how often your voice plays in my head (...) Thanks for everything Allan. I will miss you incredibly much."
Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (The Moderate Party) has posted a picture of Allan Svensson on Instagram together with the text "Thanks for everything!".
