Josephine Bornebusch directed three of the seven episodes of "Baby Reindeer", the Netflix series that has become one of the year's big TV snacks.

The Swedish director was present at the gala in Los Angeles, but did not receive an award herself. However, she took to social media after the gala to thank all those involved.

"What a journey it has been. And today we brought home 6 Emmys for 'Baby Reindeer'. I'm so proud I'm bursting for everyone who has been involved and made this series what it is. You know who you are. Thanks!", writes Bornebusch on Instagram.

"Baby Reindeer" received the award for Best Miniseries and the series' creator Richard Gadd was also awarded statuettes for Best Script and Best Male Lead in a Miniseries. Jessica Gunning received the award for Best Female Supporting Role in a Miniseries.

Josephine Bornebusch has previously directed the TV series "Love Me" and is next up with the film "Let Go" which premieres on Netflix this fall.
