In the premiere of the World Championship in Monte Carlo, the last stage of the first day was interrupted.
This after pyrotechnics were ignited and impaired the drivers' visibility.
A spectator also ran onto the track, with a burning torch, after a car had just passed by in a curve.
The organizer, Automobile Club de Monaco, appeals to the fans to respect the safety instructions.
The eight-time World Champion Sébastien Ogier reacts more strongly.
"I'm not a fan at all. They (the fans) think they're cool, but honestly, they should stop because it's too dangerous. We can't see anything", he said to French Rally Sport.
