With Sjögren at the helm, Hammarby came third last year and is currently second in the women's Allsvenskan.
Sjögren takes over the NWSL team Chicago Stars after the women's Allsvenskan season is over.
"Until the final whistle in this year's last match, my full focus is on Hammarby", says Martin Sjögren in a statement on his current employer's website.
Chicago is currently second to last, with only one win in 15 matches, in the American women's league NWSL with eleven matches left to play this season.
