The police will be using drones to monitor this year's dance band week in Malung from 14-21 July. All to "prevent, prevent or detect criminal activity" writes the police on their website. The drone surveillance will take place from 11 am to 5 am throughout the festival.
However, the dance band week, unlike other concerts and festivals, has been granted an exemption from the police's bag ban.
This year's dance band week will feature performances by, among others, Lasse Stefanz, Donnez, Streaplers, and Fernandoz.
