The second season of the Netflix series "Squid Game" premieres on December 26, reports Variety.
The series will also get a third and final season, which will be released in 2025.
During a press screening in December last year, the series' creator Hwang Dong-hyuk said that the new season will contain new competitions and characters, as well as "deeper plot and message". It is already known that the main actor Lee Jung-jae returns to the series.
The first season of "Squid Game" was ranked as the most streamed on Netflix of all time, reports Variety. The series received 14 Emmy nominations and won six statuettes.
