Only a few hours after the film director Francis Ford Coppola was taken to hospital in Rome, he wrote on Instagram that he is doing well.
”Da Dada (as my children call me) is doing well, I take the opportunity to update my 30 year old atrial fibrillation treatment with its inventor, an incredible Italian doctor, Doctor Andrea Natale! I am doing well!” wrote the multiple Oscar-winning director on Tuesday evening, according to The Wrap.
Coppola is in Italy for the Magna Graecia film festival, where his latest film "Megalopolis" is being shown. According to local media, he was taken to hospital for a mild form of atrial fibrillation, but he also had a scheduled visit with his doctor of 30 years, Doctor Natale in Rome. However, he was admitted for observation before the scheduled visit.
The 86-year-old director is known for films such as "The Godfather" and "Apocalypse Now".
