This year's Ingvar Lundberg prize winner is the founder of the Reading Movement, Elisabet Reslegård. She receives the prize of 150,000 kronor for her "great commitment to children's reading and the right to a language", as part of the motivation reads.
Ingvar Lundberg was a Swedish professor of psychology, recognized internationally for his research in reading and writing development and dyslexia. The Ingvar Lundberg Prize was established in 2014 and is awarded to a person who has made crucial contributions to promoting reading and writing skills.
The prize ceremony takes place at the Book Fair in Gothenburg on September 26.
