This is shown by a new audit report from the Swedish Unemployment Insurance Inspectorate (IAF).
According to the audit, there are suppliers who do not report deviations, for example, in cases of absence as they should – and at the same time, the Employment Service does not follow up on deviation reporting in a systematic way.
This risks leading to incorrect payments to both job seekers and suppliers, according to IAF's Director-General Mathias Wahlsten.
"Our audit shows that a more systematic follow-up of deviation reporting is required to ensure that all suppliers comply with the existing requirements," says Wahlsten in a press release.
