The Committee's Chair Ida Karkiainen (S) and Vice Chair Louise Meijer (M) will inform about the tabling next week, the Committee writes in a press release.

All opposition parties have reported Kristersson to the Constitutional Committee for the recruitment and handling of Landerholm.

Landerholm left the post as national security adviser when a criminal investigation against him was initiated in January this year and on Tuesday he was charged with gross negligence with confidential information.

According to the indictment, he "through gross negligence has unauthorizedly disclosed" confidential information in documents that he forgot at a conference center outside Stockholm in March 2023.

The information that is considered to have been disclosed through Landerholm's actions concerns, according to the indictment, "matters of a secret nature" whose disclosure to a foreign power can entail harm to Sweden's security.

Landerholm denies the crime.
