The Abu Assi school, run by the UN, is reported to be a shelter for Palestinians who have been driven from their homes. Rescue efforts are underway at the site as there is a risk that people are trapped under the rubble.
At least 30 people have been killed by Israeli raids around Gaza on Saturday, according to the health department in the Hamas-ruled strip.
