The Norwegian mobile operator Telenor reports an operating profit of 4.4 billion Norwegian kronor for the second quarter of the year. This can be compared to 4.4 billion in profit during the corresponding quarter a year earlier.
The adjusted operating result of 8.8 billion was in line with expectations.
Revenue during the quarter fell to 19.9 billion from 20.2 billion. This was slightly lower revenue than the average forecast among analysts according to Bloomberg.
In the report, Telenor raises its forecast for the Nordic market somewhat.
