Batteries that are fully or partially used to store self-produced electricity now entitle to tax deductions according to the Tax Agency, even if the battery is used for support services, for example.
Those who have their own solar power and purchase a battery can thereby save thousands of kronor, writes SVT News.
For the installation of so-called green technology, one can receive up to 50,000 kronor in tax deductions per person and year. Green technology refers to the installation of solar cell systems, systems for storing self-produced electricity, and installation of charging points for electric vehicles.
Previously, the authority denied tax deductions if the battery was also used for support services and/or the sale of electricity.
