Three civilians were killed and nine injured in Israeli air strikes against Syria's capital Damascus on Tuesday night, according to the Syrian state news agency Sana.
Earlier, Syrian state TV reported that one of its presenters was killed in an Israeli attack on Damascus. It is unclear whether the presenter is counted among the three dead reported by Sana.
A military source tells Sana that several locations were attacked with drones and fighter jets.
Israel, which has previously carried out attacks against Iran-backed groups in Syria, has not commented on the events. The country rarely does so in individual targeted attacks.
