The table tennis duo Emil Andersson and Daniel Gustafsson are out of the men's doubles in the Olympic Games in Paris. The fourth-seeded Polish pair Patryk Chojnowski and Piotr Grudzien were too strong and won the quarterfinal with 3–1 in sets.

Chojnowski/Grudzien started best and won the first set with 11–7. Andersson/Gustafsson then played themselves up in the second set and won with 12–10.

But after that, it was the end of the fun for the Swedes.

The third set went quickly. The Polish pair took command directly and won easily with 11–3. After that, Andersson/Gustafsson could not recover.

In the fourth set, Chojnowski/Grudzien pulled away early and won with 11–4.
