Swedish police have arrested a 21-year-old man at the request of Danish police, writes the Copenhagen police on the media platform X.
The man, who is a Swedish citizen, has now been remanded in custody awaiting extradition to Denmark.
The district court has decided that the person should be remanded in custody with restrictions while awaiting extradition to Denmark, says Måns Björklund, deputy chief prosecutor at the National Unit against International Organized Crime.
The remand hearing was held behind closed doors, and therefore Björklund does not want to comment on what crime the person is suspected of, where and when the crime was committed, or when the person was arrested.
It's up to the Danish police to answer that, he says.
