”An alternative that puts people's needs before market profits and that dares to stand up against injustices – regardless of where they show up”, it says on a site called ”Framtidens Vänster”.

On the site, five areas of focus are listed: socialism, feminism, anti-racism, anti-imperialism and climate justice.

Dagens ETC was the first with the news.

It was on Sunday that threatened with expulsion Lorena Delgado Varas and Daniel Riazat at a press conference announced that they are leaving the party – but not the parliament.

There will be an alternative, said Riazat then.

At the hastily convened press conference, both directed very harsh criticism against the party and leader Nooshi Dadgostar.

It has become harder, colder and more systematic. Organizationally, it has become a Stalinist organization, but politically it is a social democratic party, said Delgado Varas among other things.

The twists and turns surrounding Delgado Varas and Riazat have been many, where the former, among other things, has been accused by the party of having failed in her judgment on repeated occasions and been urged to leave her political assignments. Riazat has been accused of having acted inappropriately and according to himself, the party wanted to expel him already in 2023.

Last week, both announced that expulsion cases had been opened against them.
