A Swedish man in his 50s was arrested in Marbella on the Spanish coast after a dramatic car chase through the city's streets on Monday. The man is internationally wanted for drug offenses.
His car was stopped at a police checkpoint, but he tried to drive away from the scene, according to Aftonbladet. During the subsequent police pursuit, the Swede collided with several other cars, a bus, and knocked down traffic signs and traffic lights. Five police officers are said to have been injured during the intervention.
