Car Crashes into Customs Building on Highway 61 Injuring Two

A car has driven into one of the customs building along highway 61 between Eda glasbruk and the Norwegian border, reports Nya Wermlands-Tidningen.

Car Crashes into Customs Building on Highway 61 Injuring Two

Rescue services from both Sweden and Norway as well as police were alerted to the scene at 15.15.

The driver and a passenger were taken by ambulance or ambulance helicopter to hospital in Norway, says Rasmus Eriksson, press spokesperson at the police to TT.

The two injured people are in their 70s and reside in Norway. The extent of the injuries is unclear, but the police state that they were conscious when they were taken to hospital.

A report will be filed regarding reckless driving, says Rasmus Eriksson.
