Mikael Granholm becomes the new director-general for the Defence Materiel Administration (FMV). He comes most recently from four years as director-general for the Swedish Armed Forces and takes up his new position on Tuesday.
The director-general has a central role in the buildup that Sweden is currently in, says Minister for Defence Pål Jonson at a press conference.
Jonson also took the opportunity to thank the former director-general for the Defence Materiel Administration, Göran Mårtensson, for his nine years in the post.
