A woman in her 20s has died after being hit by a truck on Ringvägen on Södermalm in Stockholm.
It is about a woman who ended up under the truck so it is serious. She was not awake when she was taken to hospital, said Anna Westberg, press spokesperson at the police, shortly after the accident.
At 13.30, the police confirm on their website that the woman has died.
The accident occurred in connection to a traffic light. The alarm came in to the police at 10.15.
The police have initiated a preliminary investigation regarding gross negligence in traffic and causing another person's death.
