Kivra warns that there are fake text messages being sent, which appear to come from the digital mailbox. The company announces this in a press release on Monday.
"The scammers claim, for example, that you have a matter that support needs to get in touch with you about, or an unpaid invoice that needs to be handled," the company writes, noting that this type of text message becomes more common around pay periods.
Furthermore, Kivra informs that they never send text messages about matters to their support, unpaid invoices or other matters in their digital mailbox. They also ask people who receive such messages not to click on links or phone numbers.
