"Linn has had good training weeks at home with a positive performance curve. The plan was to participate in the Swedish Championship in Borås, but she has woken up with illness symptoms during the week and is therefore cancelling this weekend's competitions", says national team coach Stefan Thomson.
After the Tour de Ski in Italy – where Svahn became second in the World Cup sprint – around the turn of the year, the 25-year-old has not competed at all.
She has opted out of the World Cup competitions in France, Switzerland, and Italy to recover after the "tour" and prepare for the World Championship in Trondheim, which takes place on 26 February–9 March.
