The man suspected of subjecting several girls to sexual abuse worked at eight different preschools, as shown by Ljusdal Municipality's survey, reports P4 Gävleborg.
The man, who was employed by the municipality in 2012, also worked at a short-term residence. Prior to that, he was an intern at a preschool between 2009 and 2012.
The municipality will announce which preschools and residence are involved and is aware that it may cause reactions.
We understand that many guardians will become more anxious. But at the same time, we have also said that we will be open and transparent. We must tell what we know, says Linnea van Wagenen, head of municipal administration at Ljusdal Municipality, to P4 Gävleborg.
Last week, the municipality announced that a former employee within the municipal preschool activities had subjected nine children to sexual abuse. The man is deceased and therefore no charges have been brought.
