A suspected dangerous object was found in a residence in the Lindeborg district in southern Malmö, but after bomb technicians arrived at the scene, the cordons were lifted.

It turned out to be a stone that had been thrown in through a window, says Filip Annans, the police's press spokesperson.

When the alarm came at 2 pm on Friday, cordons were set up, people in the vicinity were ordered to stay indoors, and the national bomb squad was called in.
