Two people have been taken to hospital after a fire in an apartment in a multi-family house in Brandbergen south of Stockholm during the night against Monday.
In the nearby area, a person was found who behaved deviantly. After being taken into custody, it was decided that the person would be arrested, says Daniel Wikdahl, press spokesperson at the police.
The alarm about the fire on a balcony came at 04.30. A little over an hour later, it was extinguished.
The two who were taken to hospital had breathing difficulties, but neither of them is believed to be seriously injured. The police do not currently suspect that the incident has a connection to the gang criminal environment.
