A 50-year-old man who was detained on suspicion of murdering an elderly man in Nybro municipality has been released.
The reason is that the suspicions have not been strengthened during the time the man has been detained, according to the prosecutor for P4 Kalmar. The man is still suspected.
It was last week that a person in their 80s was found dead. Initially, the circumstances were described as unclear, and later the man was detained as reasonably suspected of murder, which is the lower degree of suspicion.
The two men are said to have had a prior relationship with each other, according to local media.
