The indicator fell to 194.4 in November, down from 195.6 in October.
For residential construction, the decline in November was to 122.9, from 123.9 in October. This is a decrease of 0.8 percent compared to October, but an increase of 10.6 percent compared to November last year.
"Right now, the recovery in residential construction appears to have been broken already at low levels. However, it remains to be seen how large the effects of the interest rate decrease will be," writes Byggfakta in a press release.
The annual rate for the number of started dwellings has leveled out just below 25,000, a bit below the official figures from Statistics Sweden (SCB) and below the forecasts for 2025 that various actors have published.
The indicator for other property construction rises slightly to 268.4 in November, up from 267.8 in October.
