The company's market share is thus falling to 0.9 percent of the newly registered cars in July. However, a total of only 163 cars were newly registered in July.

New car registrations of passenger cars in general increased at the same time by 8 percent in July compared to the same period last year. A total of 17,684 new passenger cars were registered in Sweden. Just over 62 percent of the newly registered cars were rechargeable.

At the same time, the registration of light trucks fell by 20 percent, while it was unchanged for heavy trucks.

"The higher tariffs against the USA may result in worse profitability for the industry and in the long run affect supply and price picture on the Swedish market", says Mattias Bergman, CEO of Mobility Sweden, in a press release.
