Statistics Sweden lowers inflation rate for November

Inflation in November rose to 1.8 percent according to the KPIF measure, writes the Statistics Sweden (SCB) in a press release. In a preliminary calculation last week, inflation was estimated at 1.9 percent.

In October, the KPIF inflation rate was 1.5 percent and the Swedish Central Bank's inflation target is 2.0 percent.

The underlying KPIF inflation, excluding energy prices, rose to 2.4 percent in November from 2.1 percent in October.
