This is already the case for days that provide compensation at sickness benefit level, but now it will also apply to the lowest and basic levels, says Niklas Löfgren, family economy spokesperson at the Social Insurance Agency, to P4 Jämtland.
Those who want to receive parental allowance on a free weekend must from now on also take out days on Friday or Monday in connection with it.
