Lena Andersson's August Prize-nominated novel "Study in Human Behavior" will become a theater performance at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern in Stockholm this spring. The play is directed by Sissela Kyle and features, among others, Annika Hallin, Astrid Drettner, and Sofia Papadimitriou Ledarp in the roles.
"I knew immediately that I wanted to make a theater production of this book. Lena Andersson's gaze on how we behave towards each other is scrutinizing, humorous, occasionally uncomfortable, and above all, humanly recognizable," says Kyle in a press release.
"Study in Human Behavior" was published in 2023. The play has its premiere on March 7.
