A man in his 85s has died after a head-on collision outside Hjo, the police write on their website.
Just before 4 pm, two cars collided on Highway 195 at Fågelås Norra. The driver of one of the cars was reported dead after 7 pm on Saturday evening. In the same car was a woman in her 80s who is seriously injured and has been taken to hospital.
In the other car was a man in his 40s who is also seriously injured and is being treated at hospital. Both vehicles have been seized by the police and the incident is being investigated as reckless driving.
