An internationally wanted Swedish man in his 30s has been arrested in Colombia, reports Expressen.
The arrest is said to have taken place in the tourist town of Santa Marta in northwestern Colombia on Friday morning. According to Expressen, it was done through a collaboration between Colombian and Swedish authorities and Interpol.
He has been detained in his absence since the spring for several serious crimes, including those related to the extortion affair against financier Joachim Kuylenstierna, the newspaper writes.
The man is now being held in Colombia pending Sweden's request for his extradition.
