Two more trucks have collided on the E6 in Skåne, this time outside Glumslöv in a northerly direction. The accident occurred shortly after half past twelve.
The one truck was heavily loaded and that can affect how long it takes to remove it, says the police's press spokesperson Sara Andersson.
The road is preliminarily closed until 7 pm, according to the Swedish Transport Administration.
Earlier in the morning, a total of five trucks collided on the E6 north of the Rydebäck traffic junction and one person was taken to hospital. Initially, there was a complete stop on the road section, but later traffic was allowed to pass by the accident site in one lane.
Jonas Hemert, internal commander at the rescue service, describes it as a two-stage accident. First, two trucks collided and then three more trucks crashed into each other when they were forced to brake suddenly.
