Two youths were seriously injured when a fully loaded A-tractor crashed into a gate in a cemetery wall in Hässleholm last autumn. The 17-year-old driver, who did not have a driver's license, is now sentenced to youth care, writes Norra Skåne.
In total, five youths were injured and one of the most seriously injured suffered, among other things, bleeding in the brain.
Before the accident, a police patrol had tried to get the driver to stop, among other things, by boxing in the A-tractor, but he chose instead to accelerate.
He drove faster and faster. I was terrified and sat shaking and holding on, one of the youths has stated in a police interrogation.
Hässleholm District Court sentences the driver for gross negligence in traffic and causing bodily harm.
