A police officer in Skåne is being prosecuted for making secret searches on two female colleagues in the police's internal system. Prints from the searches were later found on a parking lot and the finder posted the documents to the affected women, reports Sydsvenskan.
The finder had also photographed the registration number of the car where the documents were found. The car turned out to belong to the police officer and was also parked outside a residence belonging to a relative of his.
The prints are extracts from the police's register of crime suspicions, weapon ownership, and whether someone has been taken into custody for drunkenness. The man denies the crime and says that he believes the discovery of the prints can be explained by someone else trying to frame him.
