An elderly woman has died after being run over by a truck in Uddevalla, according to the police.
The woman and a man in his 85-90 years of age were out walking along a road when the accident occurred.
In an unknown manner, the woman in the couple is run over by a truck, says Martin Hallberg, duty officer at the police.
The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into causing another person's death and reckless driving.
The alarm came at 18.15 on Thursday.
