Something has exploded inside or outside an entrance to an apartment building. The door has been destroyed but there are no personal injuries, says Johan Ljung, duty officer at the police.
We have apprehended a young man who is being detained in connection with this crime, that is to say, public endangerment and serious offense against the law on explosive materials.
The alarm about the explosion came in at 00.30. No apartment has needed to be evacuated as a result of the blast.
Less than a month ago, another explosion occurred at the same address. On that occasion as well, no one was injured.
It is exactly the same place, and that is something we will look into, of course, says Johan Ljung.
The police bomb squad was on its way to the scene just before 02.00.
