A Russian teacher has been sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment for high treason after being found guilty of transferring money that benefited the Ukrainian military.
The 27-year-old teacher, who was arrested in February 2023, admitted to the crime during the trial.
However, in July last year, he claimed that he was denounced by colleagues after drawing horns on pictures of people in a Kremlin-loyal newspaper and that the transfers were made to relatives in Ukraine.
