Six people in the Russian region of Belgorod have been killed in attacks on Friday, according to Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, who accuses Ukraine of being behind the attacks. Four of them died in an attack on a block of flats in the town of Shebekino, and on Telegram, Gladkov has published a film showing the devastation after the attack.
A further man was killed in an attack on a village outside the border town, and a woman died when her home was shelled in a location further west in the region, according to Gladkov. The information has not been confirmed by independent sources.
Ukraine has repeatedly attacked the Belgorod region over the past few months.
In the Sumy region, which is under daily Russian shelling and lies northwest of Kharkiv, one person was killed in a Russian air raid, according to Ukrainian military.
