A woman was attacked on Sunday by three wolves in a wildlife park in Thoiry outside Paris.
The 37-year-old woman is reported to be seriously but not life-threateningly injured after being bitten in, among other places, the neck and back.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are unclear. The woman is said to have gone out for a jog early on Sunday morning after spending the night in a cabin in the wildlife park.
According to Maryvonne Caillibotte, chief prosecutor in Versailles, the woman then mistakenly entered the wrong part of the park, where visitors are only allowed to stay in cars. And it was there that she was attacked.
How she managed to get into the wrong area is unclear, as she, according to the news agency AFP, must have climbed over ditches and an electric fence to get among the animals.
