A residence in Norsborg south of Stockholm was subjected to gunfire at around 03.30 at night towards Sunday, the police write on their website.
No one has been injured.
The incident is classified as attempted murder and aggravated weapons offense, and a suspected perpetrator has been arrested.
The police have conducted a technical investigation and are working on gathering witness statements.
