The bubblegum pink law student Elle Woods, played by Reese Witherspoon, stormed Harvard in two films at the beginning of the 2000s.

Now she's making a comeback, this time in a prequel series on Amazon Prime that follows her as a teenager in high school.

The co-producer of the series is Witherspoon's production company Hello Sunshine, and in a post on Instagram, she reveals that the search for the new Elle has now begun.

"We've started the casting process and we're making it open. Looking forward to seeing all the Elle Woods out there", she says.
