The sequel to Netflix's popular TV series "Squid Game" has, as expected, become a major success. During the first four days alone, the South Korean thriller series had 68 million views, reports Variety.
This is a new record for a premiere week and significantly more than the horror comedy "Wednesday", which held the previous record with just over 50 million views in 2022.
The Emmy-winning series has also climbed to seventh place on the list of most streamed non-English language TV series. The first season of "Squid Game" tops the list, but season two still has plenty of time to surpass its predecessor, as the measurements cover the first 91 days of views.
