Queen Silvia has fallen ill and therefore did not attend the Swedish Academy's ceremonial gathering on Friday evening. The ceremonial gathering marks the end of the Academy's working year and takes place in the Stock Exchange Building in Old Town, Stockholm.
Queen Silvia has caught a mild cold and is staying at home, so as not to disturb with her coughing, the Royal Court announces.
On the other hand, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, and King Carl XVI Gustaf were present during the evening.
