The police in the North region will next week be holding interviews regarding potential links between three unexplained deaths in Skellefteå, the police write on their website. Three men were found dead at different times after their shifts at Northvolt's battery factory.

At present, there is no suspicion of crime, but the investigations are classified as deaths without suspicion of crime. Nor is there any connection between the three investigations.

The three men have been found dead in their homes within a six-month period. In January, a 33-year-old father of three was found dead in his bed after an evening shift at the factory. A month later, a 19-year-old was found dead in his bed, and in June, a man in his 60s was found dead on his balcony after working.
