The police were alerted to a school in Södertälje, after a child called in. The child believed it had seen people near its school with weapons.
Upon arrival, the police established that young people appeared to have dressed up for Halloween, writes the police on their website.
The police urge adults to talk to their children about dressing up, and add that it can be directly dangerous to handle objects that resemble weapons.
