The company behind the multi-billion industry "Pokémon" has been exposed to a hacker attack. Game Freak confirms the intrusion itself, which is said to have taken place in August this year.
In addition to personal data for around 2,500 employees, the attack is also said to have resulted in leaked information about upcoming game projects and films.
"The amount of data that has leaked is enormous. The fact that information about new projects, not necessarily game-related, is now available is worrying," says Adrianus Warmenhoven, cybersecurity expert at Nord VPN in a press release.
