A parent couple in Västmanland is sentenced to prison for having assaulted and abused two of their children, reports Sala Allehanda.
The father is sentenced to two years in prison for, among other things, gross unlawful coercion, child abuse, and assault.
The mother is sentenced to one and a half years in prison for, among other things, gross assault. On one occasion, she allegedly burned one of the children with a heat iron.
The parents, who deny the crime, are also to pay 200,000 kronor in damages to the children.
